Artist in Residence

Google Quantum AI Labs

As an artist-in-residence at Google’s Quantum AI Research Labs and a principal with DRAWEVERYWHERE’s Creative Exchange Program, Anne brings an academic and practice-based perspective to the intersection of art, science, and innovation — inspiring staff through thought-provoking, mindful, and compassionate engagement with art and design, and fostering a culture of curiosity, trust, and delight.

“This body of work emerged from a dynamic exchange between me, an artist, and the scientists of Google’s Quantum Computing Research team. Our collaboration fostered curiosity, trust, and delight, allowing the worlds of art and science to become entangled in ways that sparked innovation, creativity, and discovery. Through thought-provoking and often playful engagement, we develop a shared vocabulary and vision, bridging the gap between scientific inquiry and artistic expression.

As an artist, my goal is to push the boundaries of image-making and fabrication, exploring new processes that challenge traditional approaches. At the same time, I seek to inspire scientists to embrace creativity in their problem-solving, encouraging them to view their work through a fresh lens. Together, we cultivate connections between ideas and foster a holistic, creative culture within Google’s quantum community.”
